I am originally from Amityville, Long Island, NY. Donna Yancosek Blizzard. Daughter of Kerry Eileen Cromarty and Barry Yancosek, Sr. Granddaughter of Gerard John Cromarty(Jerry) and Lillian Fattoruso Cromarty. I have been researching my British Cromarty/Cromartie line originating in Scotland. They were once called, the Urquhart's of Cromarty. My great grandfather, Alexander Hamilton Matthew Cromarty was a Brit. His family has rich historic roots in London to the British West Indies for 200 years. My Cromarty family left the BWI's for NY in 1895. Not much luck with my Italian lineage! My Paternal grandma, Sadie Meredith's line has a rich history in Pa. to William Penn. They were some of Pa's original settlers and in early Pa govt. I am related to Princess Diana & Winston Churchill thru my Urquhart/Cromarty side. Princess Diana visited and stood on my families Potsworth estate in the Caribbean where my Cromarty great grandfather was born as a Brit citizen. One of my great grandfathers thru my Meredith side was President Chester Arthur. I am a Daughter of the American Revolution and descendant of the Mayflower.
