A US Navy Veteran, proud American gal, native to the State of Kansas, but transplanted to the Commonwealth of Virginia 1980. A child of the 1960s.

Became a US Navy Photographer's Mate (PH2) and became a Navy Plankowner of the USS Shenandoah AD44.

Employed as a commercial/industrial photographer for Lockheed Martin until 2000 and made a career change to become a graphic designer and illustrator from 2003 forward.

A defender of all animals, loves horses and was raised by Lee Mick and Deanna (Sullivan) Mick who trained thoroughbred horses and were self employed as charter pilots. Spent much of those childhood years living on the islands of Guam, Saipan and Tinian while parents operated a small island hoping airline based in Tinian.

Married retired Marine Gunnery Sergeant Jose R. Moreno Jr., who served 23 years and ended his career at Quantico.
