Hey Tim:
Seventy-six now, my three children are gone from the household. Just my wife of 54years and Minnie the German Shepherd. In 1968 I left Crypto-Tech school for Camp Lejeune and then down to Cuba for 10 months. Came back a Corporal and promoted to Sergeant a few months later in 1970. I was discharged April 1971.
I went to college to Lewis. Received a BA in Business with a minor in Math. Later on, I received an MA in Economics from Loyola University. Have a raft of certification including a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. I am sure you would have followed in my footsteps and done similar. We could have talked of family and achievements.
My only issues were the two years at Camp Lejeune drinking the water and showering it. My platelets have disappeared three times and red blood cells are low. It is not cancer but it might as well be. Each time I am hospitalized for four to six weeks at a time. One of these times it will get me and we will get together again. I still think of you my friend.
