Rather than have members upload obituaries as images, Find a Grave asks that members type out obituaries to be placed in the Bio, also, members should cite the source, such as the paper's name or mortuary's name, the publication date, and the page number(s). 

Find a Grave does allow death certificates in the photo section of a memorial page. However, out of sensitivity and respect for the surviving family members and in accordance with Community Rules, Find a Grave forbids members from posting a death certificate if it is graphic or otherwise inappropriate.
