My interest in cemeteries and headstones comes from my curiosity about genealogy. Not only is finding an ancestors name exciting to me but also to find their final resting place (a picture sometimes too!) brings it 'all home'. I like to think that by finding a name in a headstone is also a way to remember the dead family member that is so easily forgotten!
