I was born and raised in Chico, California, as my parents relocated there from Lucas County, Iowa in 1937. I have a slowly progressive motor neuron disease and cannot use my arms or legs. I am a veteran of the Vietnam War, and live and receive care at the VA Health Care Facility in Livermore, California. I have been a resident here since March 2011.
I've been a widower since January 2001, and have two adult daughters and four grandchildren.
I am actively involved in researching my family history and have used Find A Grave with some success . It is very satisfying when I'm able to add photos, additional information, correction or clarity to existing memorials when I find it lacking. It is both a joy, and sometimes a challenge to interact with other Find A Grave contributors and researchers. Keep striving to do the most complete and accurate work possible, and make the memorial you create be something that the subject would be proud of.
