The branch of Hathaway in my family has quite a bit of missing information. It can be traced back to Kinchen Hathaway born 1813 in North Carolina. There is no documentation of his parents. Richard Kinchen Hathaway, son of Kinchen, is my 3rd great grandfather. The final resting place for both is unknown. Research continues on finding Kinchen's roots.
