I volunteer on find a grave so that I can help locate, transcribe, and photograph headstones and the information provided on the headstone so that persons or descendants looking for them can locate them. I then try to research the person to try to provide as accurate information as possible and to link the person to their family members. Sometimes that's easier said than done. Sometimes I uncover discoveries not yet made. I do not volunteer on find a grave so that I can have the highest number of memorials managed. If I happen to manage a memorial of someone you are related to or have close ties with I will be happy to transfer the memorial to you so that you can maintain the memorial and add information I do not have.
