Feb 2016I started looking for my grandfather, and became interested in my fathers family, in 2016. My father never spoke about his father so l didn't want to ask to many question about him. A friend suggested that l should search for him on Find a Grave, and maybe l would have some peace if l knew were his final resting place was. He was my first Memorial. I still do not know were he is buried, a wonderful Find a Grave volunteer went to the Cemetery that he is at, but it saddens me that he might not even have a headstone, he could be anywhere. My family do not have a date of death and without that we cannot retrieve a death certificate, it also means that it will be very hard to find exactly were he might actually be.Now l have other Memorial for family members. This is a wonderful way for my family who cannot visit a grave to their loved ones in person, but still visit them on Find a Grave when ever they like and place flowers and a comment, on their page.Please if l get any information, or spelling that is incorrect email me and l will be more than happy to correct it.28th August 2016.Well my father found his father's head stone it needs some attention, hopefully next year we can fix it for him with a picture and the correct age that he died. This gives us some kind of peace, we now know where he lies for all eternity.
