I've been a genealogist for about twenty years. My main interest is in families of northern Mason County, West Virginia, but I also have roots in Jackson, Roane, and Wirt Counties, and the surrounding area.
I like being thorough and solving mysteries, so I'll try to include all of the genealogical information I can find on a given monument, and I'm glad to link related individuals.
I don't mind maintaining memorials, even ones for people whom I'm not related to, so don't be afraid to ask for edits! I do try to make sure that all of the information I add is accurate, because I know how much bad genealogy is out there, and how frustrating it is to find mistakes on a memorial page for someone in your family.
If you want me to make additions or corrections to a memorial, I'd appreciate it if you'd point me at a source that tends to support the changes, such as the census or a vital record. It'll be much easier if I know where to look!
Don't worry if it takes me a few days to get around to an edit. I may not check the site on a daily basis, but if I can see that a change is justified, I'll gladly do it once I've had time to look it over!
