I was born and raised in Nashville, TN and currently live in Chicago, IL. I started researching my family history when I was 11 years old--at my grandmother's kitchen table. I asked tons of questions and wrote down a lot of anecdotes and names/dates. Now, many years later, that info is wonderful to have--clues and threads to research. Everyday I wish I'd asked more questions and visited more elderly, distantly-related family members. I enjoy doing family research and have an interest in history and preservation. I'm also trying to save as many photos and information here and on Ancestry for others who are looking for their people. I add memorials because I think it's sad when people aren't remembered or are lost to their families. If I have a memorial for a relative of yours and you'd like to manage it, please let me know!
