Direct descendant of Rev John Gerrard. He was a Baptist preacher at Mill Creek Baptist Church, Gerrardstown, WV from 1755 until his death in 1787. I descended through his first son William, then Jonathan, Caleb, John Quincy Adams, Isaac Newton, and James William Gerrard.
