As a student of history and a literature scholar, Kathleen Kemmerer is interested in genealogy like many of the members here. Finding ancestors has become a hobby. It is fascinating to trace details of a person’s life from disparate sources. She was lucky enough to know her great grandmother and her great-great grandmother on her father’s side, and she treasures the stories that her grandfather on her mother’s side told her about the Great War.
