I am a Singer/Songwriter and musician from Richmond, Virginia. My mother's side of the family is all from Virginia, settling there before the American Revolution and also in other parts of the South. My dad's side is from Germany and Lithuania and came over in the early 20th Century and settled in the Midwestern United States .
Family names include: Stith, Bolling, Randolph, Overton, Pettus, Peyton, Carter, Taylor, King, Blackburn, Melton, Bellamy, Pearson, Skelton, Meade, Eggleston, Hardaway, Wingfield, Landrum, Rowe, Gilman, Hagan, Worsham, and many others. I am named after Captain Everard Meade- my 5th Great Grandfather who was Aide De Camp to George Washington.
My great great great grandmother was Marianne O. Meade who married Dr. John Gifford Skelton of Powhatan, County, Virginia.
I have Cherokee and Patawomeck Indian ancestry as well. I think ancestry is neat. I love Country music and it is my favorite. God first and music second. I enjoy writing and performing original songs. I play keyboards, piano, guitar, and autoharp and I sing
