Born and raised in Central Indiana. Started genealogy activity in 1978. I've had a fondness for cemeteries ever since helping dig a few graves when I worked in a cemetery for three summers just out of high school.

I enjoy meandering through cemeteries and encountering grave sites of friends and family. Recalling memories of days gone by is a pleasant experience for me. I even talk to departed family members at times, and occasionally, when a bright sun suddenly peaks out from behind a dark cloud just after I've said something to them, I know they heard and they smiled.
