I hope that my contributions will help honor those listed on this website, and that it may help others connect with their loved ones, especially those that may be far away from the cemeteries and not be able to visit. May this give them a way to visit and honor their loves ones. May they be ever remembered. 

I am not focused on adding burials from obituaries but rather focus on adding "lost" undocumented burials, facts and photos for memorials of extended family and others that that are incomplete. It takes both adding and editing efforts to make this site successful and thank you to everyone who contributes in their own way. Thank you to everyone that devotes time to this project!

Please know that if I have submitted an edit to you, it has been thoroughly researched before I submit. I try to include proof, when possible, but before declining an edit, please email me if any questions and I will be happy to explain. We have to help each other. Thank you for your help and understanding with this very important team effort.

If you would like to manage a memorial that is your family member or close friend, please submit an edit request. I will not hold on to a memorial just to have possession. It must be remembered we do this for the remembrance of the dead, not for how many memorials we can manage!

My co-graver Dawn (member #48990850) and I worked on many cemeteries, mainly Mount Zion Cemetery in Monroe County, Tennessee, where many of our family is buried. We took several weeks walking the cemetery, taking photos, and laying out a map of the cemetery for the church to use. Together we also added memorial graves that were not recorded or not marked with a headstone. If there are burials listed in that cemetery that say unmarked grave, they truly are unmarked, and no photo can be made.

I had a lot of things to take care of after Dawn's death and could not devote the time to the project as I wished, but I am earnestly working every day on this site now. I am not concerned with adding obituaries but working on adding facts and photos for memorials of extended family and those that I manage (and the ones of Dawn's that I was able to obtain) that are incomplete. It takes both efforts to make this site successful and thank you to everyone who contributes in their own way. This is not a numbers game for me, I truly want to document everything correctly and thoroughly for each of these people. I have a combined database of over 60 thousand people that Dawn and I documented and sourced, so this is not only a hobby but a work of love and dedication that began long before this website; over 50 years ago for me.
