Interested in genealogy since my mother introduced to me to the family history as a member of the Stoutenburgh-Teller Association of Hyde Park, N.Y. Also, little did I know while growing up in W. Taghkanic, my paternal grandfather has 4 generations of direct ancestors buried in the W. Taghkanic Methodist Church Cemetery. Both sides of my family can be traced back to New York from the mid 1600s.
