Hi, I am a retired Army Veteran and an American Legion Historian who researches local cemeteries to create documents listing all veterans who are laid to rest within, their service, and any other military history.

In the last 4 years, I have documented 22,000 veterans, within over 300 cemeteries, mostly in Minnesota. My goal is to complete all the cemeteries with 2,000 or fewer memorials per cemetery in Minnesota. I gift my completed booklets to the local American Legion. It is my way of saying "Thank You" to those who served before us. I would gladly share my research with anyone interested. I gather my information from Find-a-Grave and thank all of those who add information. I also look for headstones that need repair or veterans who do not have one, and we provide a service and a headstone in those situations, with the family's consent. It is great when I can provide family information about their veteran. Members of the American Legion enjoy seeing generations of family, friends, and classmates of those who served.
