You must check out the inscriptions and texts, as some of the entries include my research. For example, I might have included a birth date from my genealogical searches. But you would anyway, wouldn't you?

The texts:

Pulham St. Mary (the Virgin) has had its Memorial Inscriptions surveyed twice, by Pulham W.I. in 1981 and by Dinah Clarke and Hilary Clutten in 1992.

The full transcriptions are on Family Search and without that I most certainly wouldn't have undertaken the move to put them on Find A Grave. I would recommend visiting their website to discover more detail of the memorials.

The gravestones that were present in 1981 were numbered and I've stuck to the original number scheme. Some numbers are for mounds, so no gravestones.

I'm pretty annoyed by Find A Grave: the spreadsheets they use don't include places. I could have included the sites, but don't feel the need to now, since each one would have to be done individually.

The photographs:

I'm disabled so I got my son to photograph the gravestones. I asked him to let me see the inscriptions, but some of the gravestones are cut-off in the exercise! Since my son is 6'5", he got tired off bending down all the time, so some of the photos are taken from a difficult angle. Some are missing.

This is a work in process and I've got most of the photographs, but not loaded them to Find A Grave. Maybe by the end of 2020 I'll have them on here. I've barely started matching the pictures.

I'm extremely grateful to the surveyors and my son. I have no relatives in Pulham, but like to think that someone will upload MIs and photos from MY graveyards!

(P.S. Pulham St. Mary Magdalene = Pulham Market in modern speak, not Pulham St. Mary the Virgin!)
