I was born to Ernest L. and Elia R. Pratt March 3, 1943 in a houseboat on the Mermentau River in Lake Arthur, La. I married a sailor and traveled for 20 years then retired in Florida in 1987. I have two sons (Ed and Jim), 4 grandsons and 2 granddaughters. My hobby is quilting as was my mom's and Aunt Bessie.
My dad passed away when I was 12 and my mom later in 1986. They are both buried in Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Arthur. We did not get to know very many of dad's family as they were much older and moved away. I never met some but corresponded with others. I am trying to piece together as much info as I can.
