Currently working on WALES and KOLKATA, India. I am married with two sons. I work full-time and family history is my hobby. I have started de-crypting headstones for two reasons. Firstly to repay in kind for all the records I have previously found due to the kind efforts of other contributors and secondly in an effort to try to capture the information before it is lost to the elements. I have started touring the local cemeteries and taking photos here in Wales. Slightly hampered by the fact that a lot of the information is in Welsh (which I don't speak or read) and time is always in short supply. Recently took a trip to India and managed to take some photos in 3 of the cemeteries there. I only had an hour in each but took as many photos as I possibly could.

During my trip to Kolkata I visited South Park Street Cemetery, Lower Circular Road Cemetery and St John's, Sealdah Cemetery. Unfortunately I did not have a great deal of time in any of these cemeteries but I took as many photos as I could of the stones which I could read. Quality varies but I am slowly uploading what I can, something is better than nothing and if others who follow have better images I am more than happy to remove mine.
