My family lines come from Europe through Massachusetts, New Hampshire; Rhode Island; Philadelphia, PA, Quebec, Canada; and Brooklyn, NYC. They consolidated in Bridgeport, CT during the later 19th Century. A few went to the Midwest and South, but most remained in CT until the late 20th C. I'm trying to locate them for our family genealogy and the stories they tell us. Some records were kept, and it's a gem when I can "find" members who seem to have disappeared and connect them here. Before I write a bio on this site, I make sure my details are as accurate as possible, so some are long, and some are very short, depending on what I can find.
