My time is just as valuable as yours, so please try to follow the "rules" of this site to avoid unnecessary duplication of efforts on my end, other volunteers, and yours. My photos may be used in personal family trees such as Ancestry with proper credit (as you should with any photo), but please do not re-purpose them for other sites without my permission- which is standard practice.

Other than my family relations, I am more than happy to transfer a record to those who have a family relationship to that person. I don't care about the numbers I have- that's not the point.

I add memorials for my family members/trees, and also when I find people in the course of taking photos for others that are not already noted in this discipline, or that need to be re-done. I do not currently have the time to fully research many of the random memorials I may have found and then created, but feel they should be added to the cemetery list when I find them. Better to have them into the system than not at all. I will go out of my way to confirm a burial site whenever possible for a requested photo, especially if there is no headstone.

I greatly appreciate those who are more heavily into the genealogy and documentation for this particular web site, but I reserve that extra time for my own extensive trees. If there is a question about a memorial or photo request, I am happy to research it thoroughly when asked.
