Sadly, Linda Ford Sharp has passed away. Please consider visiting their Find a Grave memorial page and leaving some virtual flowers. Their enthusiasm for cemeteries and willingness to help future generations lives on through their contributions to Find a Grave.
Bio
I began my genealogy research by trying to learn about my immediate Ford/Raines/Ownby and Dunn/Clevenger/Hartsell ancestors who had lived in Cocke County, TN. This soon expanded to the spouses and children of these ancestors which became a long list. Findagrave.com was a great source for me, so I became a member in hopes that I could be of help to others. I do not actively go out and take pictures of headstones. However, on two recent trips (June and July 2017) that I made to Cocke County, we went to 5 cemeteries; and my niece, Rhonda Ford, did take pictures of headstones; and I have posted those on the site. We are so glad to be able to share these pictures as some cemeteries were not easily accessible, and only folks who have relatives buried there would visit those cemeteries. Our hope is that others will be pleased to see the pictures we shared, as we are very appreciative of pictures that others have taken the time to post on findagrave.com.
