I have spent most of my adult life searching for ancestors. Something I promised my grandmother I would do while she lay in her death bed. She made me promise I would find our living cousins, what she didn't tell me is that her grandmother was Hawaiian and Native American. The only thing she could tell me is that they numbered in the thousands and had dark skin. Not much to go on, but after I promised a few hours later she passed. I have spent the rest of my life in pursuit of our living cousins. I have found most of them as far back as the records go, but coming from 2 oral cultures has made this work difficult. To that end I have started a DNA study group and found many of the thousands of living cousins.
