I am Raymond "Robert" Abney Jr., called by my middle name as well as "Bobby". My wife is Mary Grace Lazo Mercader Abney. She is called "Grace". I work on all of my ancestral family lines. I am particularly interested in ABNEY, RAGAN, HINGLE and de SAINT GERMAIN. I have published seven books on genealogy. My largest volume, "Ancestry and Genealogy of Dr. Abraham Abney of Virginia" (a.k.a. "The Abney Book") covers the Abney ancestry to its earliest known origins in St. Aubin-d'Aubigné, Ville-et-Villaine, Bretagne, France in the 10th century. I am currently working on volume III of the Abney Family History Series.
