So I've now spent the better part of 5 years working on my 'trees' and am constantly amazed at those who volunteer their time to help others, not just on places like here but also on websites and Facebook groups.

That DNA thing is really helpful in finding those unknown cousins that your grandparents (in my case, grandmother) never got around to telling you about.
