Hi, My name is Frank Abrahams. I grew up in Grant, Michigan. I currently live near Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have always been interested in family history. My mother passed on to me a booklet that her cousin researched and published. He traced our family back to England. Our family on my mother's side has three families that came to the USA on the Mayflower in 1620, Stephen Hopkins, Richard Warren, and Francis Cooke. I joined Find a Grave to assist me in finding family headstones and their locations. This led me to researching the cemeteries. I started with Hillside Cemetery in Grant, Michigan as there are many of my relatives buried there. During this research I noticed that there were headstones that were barely legible. This started me on my quest to clean, photograph and GPS all headstones at Hillside Cemetery. I have worked with the Township Clerk's office, and they have given me information on the people that are buried there. I have started over 750 memorials so far. I will transfer any memorials to you if you request them.
