Please don't hesitate to ask questions and let me know if there is something I can help with. I welcome suggestions for edits and revisions on memorials I am managing. There may be information you have that is more accurate or complete than what I have. You can message me through FAG or send an email to my private email address which is on my profile. If you send an email or message, please give me the memorial number so I know who you are referring to.
I believe we should include as much information as possible, so if you know of a nickname or alternate name, please suggest it. From my own experience, a birth name does not always reflect the name a person was known as. Adding nicknames and alternate names will help others find their kin.
I may ask you for additional information to make sure the change is accurate or to give you information as well :-)
---As to FaG, my personal philosophy is that I am NOT here to collect graves, amass numbers or followers. There's NOT a lot of rules or formulas for the bio to follow. I am NOT the "owner" of these memorials. They belong to the persons who have passed on, to those that knew those who are being remembered here and/or loved the persons the memorials are for, and to those that wish to respectfully show the life of the person who has gone on, related or not.
If I see a memorial that is being managed by FaG, I often times will request a transfer to help ensure the memorial has an active manager. Please DO contact me if you would like a transfer. I am happy to transfer to those who are either willing to manage a memorial, or are closer in kinship than me. (There are only a few that are especially dear to me, my family and direct ancestors, and others who had been forgotten.)
It is important to me that our friends, loved ones, and ancestors are being honored and cherished here at FindaGrave---it is both a privilege and an honor to be part of that with you.
