I was raised just south of the New Winchester, Indiana cemetery. The house I was raised in is gone now. I have some relatives that are buried at that cemetery.
On the Western/Weston side of the family came from Jamestown, Kentucky area before resettling in the early 1900's in central Indiana. It looks like they originally immigrated from England.
On the Smith/Hipsher/Hypshire side of the family they were in Grainger County, Tennessee before resettling in central Indiana in the early 1900's. It looks like they originally immigrated from Germany.
I currently live in San Diego, CA and am actively researching my family tree on ancestry.com.
