Benjamin G Webster is a thirty-eight year EMT-Paramedic, holding positions of Crew Chief, Advanced Life Support Coordinator, Shift Supervisor, Controlled Substances Agent, member of Board of Directors; Secretary and President. He also is a thirty-seven year Firefighter, holding line offices of Lieutenant, Captain, Assistant Chief and Chief of the Department. He holds numerous New York State and National Firefighting and EMS Certifications. He holds a certificate in Paramedicine, an AS in Life Science, an AOS in Fire Protection Technology, a BS in Business / Management / Economics with a concentration in Fire Service Administration and a Masters of Fire Science.

Webster began his career in 1995 with New York State Division and Homeland Security's Office of Fire Prevention and Control as a State Fire Instructor assigned to Columbia County. For the past twenty-two years, he has served as a Fire Protection Specialist, currently assigned to the Hazardous Materials Branch where he provides technical assistance and instruction in hazardous materials and technical rescue topics. He is a New York State credentialed Radiation Safety Officer, Communications Unit Technician and Communications Unit Leader and provides logistics support to New York Task Force 2, the State Urban / Technical Search and Rescue Team.

Webster, an 'Extra Class' Amateur Radio Operator, enjoys making contacts world-wide on his 'ham' radios.  He is an Eagle Scout with three palms and a New York State Commissioned Notary Public. He served as an Assistant Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 113 and Explorer Post Advisor for Stuyvesant Falls Fire Company Post 65 and received the Twin Rivers Council's Exploring Advisor of the Year award in 2013. He was bitten by the genealogy bug in the mid 1980's. He is a life member of the Stuyvesant Falls Fire Company, Columbia County (NY) Agricultural Society, Dutchess County (NY) Genealogical Society, Connecticut Ancestry Society, Connecticut Society of Genealogists, Palatines to America German Genealogy Society and a member of the National Genealogical Society, New York Genealogical & Biographical Society, New England Historic Genealogical Society and United Empire Loyalists Association of Canada.
