My name is Chris Meyer and I have begun researching my ancestry via ancestry.com and my extraction is of English, Welsh, northwest European, German, and a small amount Swede. I was born in Northwest Missouri with family roots that cover Northwest MO , Southwest MO, Northern TN, Northern KY, Southern IN , Northern North Carolina and Maryland and VA as well as WI . So far I have been able to trace back of the much of the linage 7 or 8 generation however, I have been stuck at my Paternal Grandfather side Charles Meyer (church records shows him listed as Carl) / Euphemia Albers which maybe be Albus I am finding contrary information on names so far I can only take it to my great grandparents and very little is known about either one of them only that they were either born and lived in the Dubois County IN area around the time of their marriage in 1881 they had a total of 5 sons only two made it to adults . I have been about to find birth records on the Sons that died though the Saint Ferndinand Catholic Church in Ferndinand ,IN those records are from 1882 to 1888 2 of those sons died but do know they died within hours of each other. I do not know when I do not know when my great grandparents move to Northwest Missouri they were living there in 1894 When my Grandfather was born . Euphemia Meyer died in 1908 in St Joseph, MO and Charles died in Parnell ,MO in 1914 both were buried in Conception MO. If anyone out there can be of help I love to hear from you.
