I have been on Ancestry for over 10 years now. What started out as a curiosity for Cherokee lineage, has grown to the discovery of the slave owners with heirs through their slaves. I cannot say that I am proud of the fact nor do I take the blame for my past ancestors. I have met the most beautiful cousin whom comes from ancestors of slaves and was told all great stories of the past. Now only if only I can find our direct lineage, will I be able to rest!
