Life long Dallas area resident. Currently working on Adams family tree with descendants from Halifax Co., Virginia, Chambers & Pike Co., Alabama, Hunt Co., Texas, and possibly various locations in Georgia (possibly Morgan Co.). I have verified direct Adams relatives in Layett and Fredonia, AL., and hope to trace back to 1700's in Virginia. Relatives include Caleb and Elizabeth Hammock Adams, Nipper (Napier) Adams, Sr., and John & Eleanor Powell Adams and also John and Elizabeth Johns Adams (each possibly from Halifax Co., VA).
