I am a seasoned genealogist/family historian and lover of all things history. My roots in St. Mary's and Charles Counties in Southern Maryland run deep and extend back to the colonial days and some of the first families. I also have ties to the early settlers of Southwestern Virginia. I enjoy researching and "connecting the dots" that link us together and appreciate the role that our cemeteries play in that search. My research partners include my kids, my parents, and a few other older (not tech savvy) relatives. We are a great team that enjoy finding long lost relatives, going to cemeteries, and making sure that our ancestors are remembered.

I try to create memorials and post obituaries for people that seem to have been forgotten to time. I have a special soft spot for the children because the little ones are often completely forgotten after their parents and siblings are gone. My hope is that my research will help find their long-lost family members. If I have created a memorial for someone that I am not related to, but you are, please just ask and I will gladly transfer it to you.
