I have lived in Selma, Alabama most of my life and enjoy all the benefits of living in the same place. My husband and I love the fact that we have our friends and family close by.

I spend most of my time working on family history in some fashion or another. Our main project at the moment is working on a family cemetery. We are repairing markers and graves. There is just something about keeping your family "alive" by caring for their graves.

We own property in Perry County, Alabama and enjoy the time there as well. Perry County is where my family (both paternal and maternal) call home starting in 1821 and 1822. My family includes LeVert, Benson, Ingram, Lockett, Stoudenmire, Oakes, Edwards, White, Brodnax, Patton, and others. I love to find out more about all the lines so if you have a story I would enjoy hearing about it.
