Hello, my name is Lisa Lynn. I live in Detroit, Michigan. I've been doing my ancestry and compiling my family tree since about 2013.
My father's family is quite large and mostly all based in the Boxville and Tilden areas of Kentucky, and mostly throughout Clay, Allen, Webster, and Union Counties. Surnames on his side are Lynn, Divine (Devine), Hearin (Herrin), Tapp/Taptico, Jenkins, Hendricks, Duncan, and Crowley.
My mother's family is all based overseas in Europe coming from Germany, Poland, and Ukraine. Surnames are Panknin, Baumgart, Sabert, Marquardt, Radke, Ferch, Kalinowski, and Chodzko. The Polish side of my family: Kalinowski/Chodzko has been a bit of a brick wall, so if anyone has any information or are relatives, help would be greatly appreciated!
I get so much joy in knowing the history of my ancestors, no matter how distant. The sacrifices they made and the struggles they had to endure, along with all of their accomplishments, are why I am here today...and I am forever grateful. Cheers to family!!! ^_^
