I have taken lots of photos of headstones over the years and now I have more free time, I thought I'd share them as I know how helpful this information can be very helpful to anyone tracing their family history.

Where I have been unsure of any dates, I've cross-referenced the information using Ancestry, Durham Records Online, GRO, FindmyPast, Family Search, ScotlandsPeople etc to make sure it's as accurate as possible.

Most of the information I've added so far is connected to my direct ancestors or the wider family who feature on my family tree so I've been able to add details of places of birth/death/marriage dates etc.

Where someone isn't directly related to me, I've added a photo and any details included on the headstone but haven't always been able to add the place of birth/death.

I am happy to make any additions or amendments to a memorial however, to ensure the data is as accurate as possible, please provide details of the source for the data you provide.
