In addition to being a mom and stepmom, I'm a licensed clinical social worker (therapist). I spend a lot of time researching family trees on ancestry.com and indexing historic records on familysearch.com. That's what led me to findagrave. When I can sneak away, I'll head to the cemetery and photograph headstones. I began doing this to fulfill photo requests but now I just photograph entire cemeteries so nobody is left out. Not sure why I love photographing and indexing this information- maybe adding some order to an otherwise disorderly world (in addition to wanting to help others). I love research and documentation. Keeping records of who existed after they're long gone feels important to me. One day we will all be gone and everyone we know will be too. Nobody should be forgotten to time.
