Married into the Waltman family and adopted into the Waltman family, my interest in family history grew each year since I was 19 years old. I always asked questions and was entertained from all the stories from Valentine Waldmann to present family members on both the Waltman family and McDonald's family.
Now that majority of the main family has passed on, my search for their legacy has continued in my blood. I'm not Waltman born , but as my adopted mother Vera Marie Waltman Baucum told me, "There's Waltman blood that flows through your veins because you're just like me and all of us!"
I will continue my quest to make my family and adopted mother proud. Until I can hug and kiss all of you again, I know you're watching down on me as I can feel your presence with me daily.
