My interest in genealogy began about 15 years ago with a deeply personal mission: trying to recover lost memories for my dad. When he was a teenager, his family home caught fire, and with it, all their cherished photographs were destroyed. I wanted to give him back a piece of what he lost.

What started as a search for old photos quickly became something much bigger. As I reached out to relatives and family friends, collecting images and stories, I realized how important it was to not only gather these pieces of the past—but to understand who the people in them were. That curiosity led me down the path of researching both my family's and my husband's genealogy.

Now, spending time digging into family history—whether through old records, photographs, or even quiet moments in a cemetery—has become one of my greatest passions. It's not just about names and dates; it's about reconnecting generations and preserving the stories that make us who we are.
