Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, I have been a Find a Grave member for eight years and am still connecting all my family memorials. My maternal great-grandparents, grandfather, paternal grandparents, and extended family emigrated to the United States in the late 1800s and early 1900s from Central and Eastern Europe, including the Baltic States. They brought with them German, Polish, Czech, Ukrainian, and Russian backgrounds.
