I was born in Minnesota, spent 4 yrs in the US Coast Guard and retired from the State of Wisconsin. Our family has 3 generations of grandparents interned in the Oakwood Cemetery in Pepin, WI that had initially moved to Wisconsin in 1848 as blacksmiths & in 1855 became steamboat builders, pilots and captains. I have worked on our families ancestry off & on for over 6o years. I'm a 10th generation American as our Origin Ancestor Jonathan Murray immigrated to East Guilford, CT from Scotland in 1685 at age 20.
