Born in Ironton Missouri, first child of Earlene Laveta Dickey & David Eugene Lietz, first Grandchild of Earl Clifford Dickey & June Laveta Clymer, and Harry Hadley Lietz & Ruby Ratcliff.
I take great pride as the first grandchild to both sides, especially given that all my grandparents have early ancestrial families that bravely immigrated in the colonial era, with my Father's side pioneering the Northern Ohio valley trails west, and my Mother's ancestors pioneering south, with major impacts settling North Carolina before heading west after the Revolutionary War.
