Inheriting genealogy projects on my paternal and maternal ancestors created my interest in genealogy. I have maintained and added to their work. Most of my paternal ancestors were from Pennsylvania, while my maternal ancestors were from Tennessee, Kentucky and emigrated to Oregon/Washington on the Oregon Trail. And then my husband's ancestors were Germans from Russia.
