My dad is James Rodney Webb, the third of 7 children born to Rodney Thomas Webb (b. 6 July 1908-d. 30 July 1965) and Thera Docie Calledonia Sapp (b. 2 May 1914-d. 13 August 1984). According to my dad (as well as the records of his family), Thera Docie Calledonia was always called “Callie Docie” or just “Docie” which is what I always heard her called. I miss her! I never knew grandpa. He passed several years before I was born. But I played at grandma Webb’s house and ate her food many many times! What a wonderful woman she was!
