I've always been interested in old family stories. Now that so much of my family is gone, I regret not writing down the tales I once heard time and time again. My maternal grandparents are from the Oklahoma territory and I strive to know more. English, Irish and Native American roots (the only certain lineage I know) are just some of the heritages I long to unearth information about.
Some family names of mine are:
Abbott, Brannon, Eaton, James, Sturman, Gibson, Edwards, Longcrier, Napier, Barnette and Morris.
My paternal lineage was rooted in the East coat post immigration, then moving to the Midwest. Mainly Scottish, English and Welsh. Those names are Abbott, Eaton, Morris, Sprague and Casoer.
