While I'm relatively young compared to most in the field of genealogical pursuits, I've at least a decade of experience and more years if you count when I first became interested and had access to game-changing resources. For me, it started off with stories from my maternal grandmother and has blossomed exponentially into researching not only my mother's sides, but my father's, my husband's multitude of branches, and even a shall we say dormant, biological branch of my own child's tree.

I'm not collecting memorials for a competition nor any other type of personal gain. I actually stick more so to internment photo requests. The only goal I have is to help others connect branches of their own trees and give them some sort of peace with these digitalized memorials. I want for others what I have managed to find for my own trees and what I have not, because we all deserve to know, and have answers to our most genealogically-dire questions. 3

For my own research, surnames of interest to me include: Boudoin (no matter the spelling - Baudoin, Baudouin, Boudouin, Boudwin, etc.), Byron, Dore, Lanerie, Poirier, Saltzman, Simon, and Solano, to name just a small handful. For now, all searching is confined to Louisiana, particularly the entire southern part of the state.
