Growing up in Southern California after my father—a U.S. Marine Corps Super Sonic A-4 VMA Attack pilot and Nuclear Warfare Training Specialist—was stationed at El Toro Marine Base, I developed a deep appreciation for history and service. My mother introduced me to genealogy, sparking a lifelong passion for family research after we discovered that eight of our ancestors arrived in Plymouth, Massachusetts, on the Mayflower in 1620.
