Hello all,

I started on this site to get more information on family members and have fallen down the rabbit hole of so much.

While I have had an account since 2018, I have only been active on it for the past 2 years.

I am currently working on my husbands family line as there isn't a lot of work of mouth information about where people are buried as well as where they are from originally. Those Family Lines are Taylor (I know talk about needle in a haystack) and Rous(s)ell(e) currently but I will probably have more.

I am also trying to find information on my families.

• Duiker and all those still in the Netherlands
• Spek and all those still in the Netherlands
• Keating and where they originally came from
• Conway and when they actually came to Canada
• Bell while I know how he came to Canada there is nothing really tying him to Ireland where he stowed away on.

I love history and I love learning about my history and telling my kids about the stories of those that have passed.

I had a grandparent born in the Netherlands while the Germans were actively trying to invade and occupy and was raised in that occupation as neither a Jewish or German person. Their point of view on that time is amazing.

I have a great uncle who was killed in that same war in 1940 and his body was never brought home.

I have a huge section of family in the Magdalene Islands, I would love to see them and the family that is buried there but not listed on this site.
